China Resources Enterprise, Limited ("CRE", HKEx: 00291) is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is one of the constituent stocks of the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong. The Group focuses on the consumer businesses including retail, beer, food and beverage in China. Its mission is to become the largest consumer goods company in China. Its ultimate holding company is China Resources National Corporation, which had a 51.40% effective interest in the Group as at the end of 2010. The Group employed around 171,000 staff, of which about 95% were employed in the Chinese Mainland as at the end of 2010.
